Nomase Sonqishe
New Insights Certified VIP Life Coach

Hi, I’m Nomase and my practice is called COURAGE COACH …
Giving YOU the courage to succeed!

Have you have been procrastinating on any of your life goals? Are you recovering from life’s disappointments and need that courage to start again? If you have answered yes to these questions, you need a Life Coach!

Why life coaching?

I love encouraging people from all walks life. I work with men and women who have a strong desire to succeed in life – assisting them with developing courage to overcome emotional issues, self-esteem challenges and personal leadership development issues.

I also provide inspirational talks to all groups of people on general life topics. I use my own personal life and work experiences to help others overcome career frustration, build financial wellness and enjoy personal development.

Using the tried and tested techniques that are provided by New Insights Life Coach Training, I work together with my clients to unleash that much needed courage to be the best they can be in every area of their lives – with lasting positive changes.

During the accreditation process with New Insights Life Coach Training, I discovered for myself that the techniques and tools that make up this programme are effective and have lasting results.

Who am I ?

I was born in the village of Mbekeni Location in the Eastern Cape province. I am now a mother of three adult sons and I live in Midrand, Gauteng. To relax I enjoy taking enjoy walks in the parks and going to live entertainment.

I’m an advocate for the underdog by nature! I have always been intrigued by human behaviour. I love encouraging others! I believe that all of us have what it takes to be the best (with a little bit of enouragement).

What do I do for a living?

Apart from life coaching I am also a professional banker with experience in bank operations, compliance, governance & control functions, risk and treasury management. I have over 20 years of banking experience specialising in International Banking (Forex) and Operational Risk Management. One of my career highlights as a banker was developing three of my team members to managerial positions.

What do I do in my community?

I am a volunteer in our local church. I am responsible for directing the department of voluntary ministry. This ministry affords me the opportunity to identify people with various gifts and potential and allocate them to a suitable department or ministry in the church. I am able to do this by encouraging them to believe in themselves. It is humbling to see someone grow in that environment, knowing that you have played a small part in uncovering their gifts and talents.

Why choose me as your coach?

As your life coach I can help you to muster the courage to succeed in any chosen area of your life!

For years after my BSc degree I had been hesitant to pursue my masters, I had formulated this ideas in my heard that research projects are not fun and complicated something I had been avoiding for the past 15years. I’m grateful to have met my life coach Nomase as she worked with from the first session understanding were all my fears and believe comes from. She took me by hand every process of application and now I’m proud first year Masters student with the University of Stellenbosch, and I’m enjoying every moment. As human beings we need encouragement/ that little push from time to time in order to reach our goals. Thank you Nomase

Nomase and I worked together in the Financial Industry before she left for greener pastures.
She knew me and she was always making me aware of all these self-imposed rules and ceilings that I subjected myself to. I knew that I needed assistance and signed up – my colleague/friend became my Life Coach.
I find Nomase one of the most intelligent, mature and caring woman I know. She led me into opening up all these hidden issues that triggered all my rules and ceilings and left me a much more balanced person than I’ve ever been.
And best of all – she is still there for me when I need to talk to her!

I am Nomusa Hlatshwayo a 30 year old single mom. I started life coaching with Nomase in 2013 and since then I’ve never looked back. In the beginning I thought this was just a therapy session little did I know that it would turn out to be an empowering journey? Life coaching is not the same as therapy; it helps you unleash the potential you have and build courage to finish what you’ve started. You see having Nomase as a coach has helped me break away from the chains of bondage. I always thought that my background would set the tone of who I will become one day. Through her assistance I have learnt to understand and believe that it’s not always about how you start but rather how you finish. Her life history is an inspiration to me as she comes from a similar background as mine yet she managed to rise above all obstacles. I am glad that I allowed her into my life because today I understand who I am and what I want but most of all I have gained courage to face challenges head on. Life is the greatest gifts of all but what you choose to do with it, is up to you.

This letter serves to confirm that Nomase Sonqishe of Courage Coaching has been working with our organisation since November 2015.
She has been assisting the business with coaching of managers, including senior managers. Her involvement in the business is ongoing.
Since her engagement with the team, the individuals involved have evolved with notable results in the area of their responsibilities which, in turn has contributed positively to business performance. Managers are now more self-reliant, confident, assertive and able to make decisions without fear of failing. As a result, a manager has been promoted to date.
From time to time, Nomase also conducts business goal oriented workshops with the team to ensure alignment of business objectives to individual roles and responsibilities. Her contribution in this area has seen sterling success in the achievement of set business objectives.
As the franchisee, who is part of the programme, she has assisted greatly in bridging the gap between managers and I – as well as in the area of productive use of time in achieving goals.

Beginning of the year I decided I was tired of doing the same thing every year ,planing to change but never changing anything . I knew what I needed to do was to renew my mind . So that from now on moving forward I think differently than before . Hence I decided to join life coaching .It was important for me to be with someone who shares the same faith and values as me so there won’t be any clashes and that’s how I came across Ms Sonqishe. The only challenge at first was that she is in Joburg and I in Capetown so we’d have to have sessions over the phone . But that later proved to not be an issue at all .we did the whole program over the phone .
One of the biggest things I could say I gained from life coaching was the ability to dream big again ,without fear of failing .Learning to not allow fear to control me. Also not to only dream but to take action steps and work forwards my goal . Sometimes goals can seem so overwhelming , when you look at where you are now and where you want to go .But after this session I learnt to sit down and plan the steps I need to take to ultimately get to my goal ( after all that’s how you eat an elephant piece by piece) .
Also learnt to think about what I think about and not just allow any thought to take over my mind .
I would really recommend life coaching it helps you get back on the right trail and not just go through life aimlessly and just exist but help you purposefully live life and enjoy life .
